Bernard Opeldus

Bernard joined the navy and when he came to England he was playing in a band.

During one of the balls he met Zosia and they got married.

At a later ball whilst Bernard was playing in the band Zosia had a dance with a young man called Jurek - she told him that she was already married and introduced Jurek to her sister Marysia, and they subsequently married.

Bernard conducted the Polish Church Choir in Manchester for many years and played the violin.
